Located approximately 70 miles south of New York City, 65 miles east of Philadelphia, 60 miles north of Atlantic City. there is plenty to do all around the Bay Head area. We enjoy the Atlantic Ocean at our front door to the east and to the west and south we have the Barnegat Bay with crabbing, windsurfing, waterskiing, power and sail boating.
Did you know that in 2005 the Borough of Bay Head was formally accepted into the New Jersey State and the Federal Registries of Historic Places? The architecture of the Victorian seaside resort was, and continues to be, exceptional.
A place of quiet casual and yet somewhat elegant, Bay Head is a great place to fly a kite, to bicycle on quiet village streets, to collect seashells and sea glass, to watch the ducks in our wildlife sanctuary, to sit back and enjoy a glorious sunset. You will also find specialty shops, restaurants, and places to stay.
Bay Head is a fun place – well-loved since the late 1800’s by folks who like the good life. Come visit – for a change of pace, any time of year.
